Woolworths Surf Groms offers comprehensive surf instruction for children aged 5 to 12, focusing on core surfing skills, essential ocean awareness, and beach safety knowledge. Our program emphasises fun and enjoyment, while learning. Each session will be tailored to accommodate children with varying abilities, allowing them to develop their skills and build confidence in a safe environment.
In addition to invaluable learning experiences, every registered Surf Grom receives a $50 Rip Curl voucher and a Surf Grom logbook to track their progress and achievements throughout the program.

At our surf school we run surf lessons in all weather and surf conditions providing it is safe to do so. If the surf is too big, completely flat or unsafe due to high winds or lightning then we will relocate to Maroochydore or Mooloolaba Main Beach or reschedule your lesson. If we change the time or location and you are unable to come to the new lesson, then we will provide a credit toward another lesson at a later date. If that is unsatisfactory we may issue a refund at our discretion. If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 24 hours notice. Failure to give the necessary notice will mean you forfeit the cost of that lesson. Under these circumstances, there are no refunds, partial or otherwise. We do not offer make up lessons for holiday or term programs.
