Coolum Surf School was founded by Genevieve and Chris Kendall in 2001 with a dream of becoming one of the Sunshine Coast’s most prestigious and professional surf schools. 

With only two surfboards to their names, Gen and Chris set out to share their passion for surfing with beginners and advanced surfers alike, offering an unparalleled experience along the Coolum Beach coastline. 

Fast forward 23 years, and a new partnership has been established. Rachel and Grant Thomas of Maroochy Surf School, along with former WSL CT surfer Keely Andrew, have joined Chris to continue sharing their love of surfing with the Coolum community, taking this once humble surf school to new heights.
